We selected Wordpress Software as the hub because it is a simple to use Content Management System – encourages visitor interaction, has 1000+ theme templates to choose from (or even build your own), as well as 6000+ additional software tools to help add to your visitors’ experience.
Support and development of this core software and tools is ensured by the ever growing worldwide Wordpress Internet Community- of which you will be part. In addition we will provide our own direct support network and information exchange using Skype and our own help forum. No experience is necessary. If you can access the internet and can Copy & Paste you could be up and running within the hour.
(Whilst you can use your own preferred software tools – eg Joomla – we cannot provide technical support for other than our basic core software and approved plugins.)
How it Works.
The format of your site would use a Sub-domain of the URL from the choice on offer. (see below)
For example: http://Venus.MyLocalGazette.com and be restricted to only one name for each place – giving you exclusive rights for your chosen place and enables you to also have the remaining URLs as ‘sleepers’ for your future development. Example:

You will have full ftp access to your site/s in addition to on-line wysiwyg dashboard editing and media up-loading features using the core software and plugins. Unlimited email addresses can also be set-up for use.

For those of you who currently have your own place portal/local directory or other niche sites the opportunities are available to join thendt Network in a number of ways ~
If you have a place name included in your URL as we have for http://www.thenorthdevontimes.co.uk for example, your membership URLs can be forwarded to your existing site or you can have a new additional site as a front-end to your existing portal/directory or other format.
You can add unlimited directories to your membership URLs for add-on subjects. For example http://www.TheNorthDevonTimes.co.uk/go-green
Alternatively you can choose to have an alternative domain name, for example http://www.VenusEcho.com hosted by us, either as a main site or redirected to your chosen membership URL.
If you already own websites and/or have a shopping-cart in niche subjects you can use your membership to front-end these sites and enhance your local on-the-ground presence and credibility.
We are happy to discuss any other requirements you may have including Joint Venture marketing.
Annual Membership costs £195.00 (Pounds Sterling*) per annum or £18 per month. Payment can be made using your Credit Card securely through Paypal, money transfer using Western Union, or by Cheque/Money Order within the UK. Other Payment terms can also be agreed upon request.

Our pricing includes Hosting and and the provision of a package of software tools and one-to-one support ~ No other expense necessary to operate. The rate for a school/educational/not-for-profit organisation will attract a saving of 20% when the Admin Interface is handled by a named adult. The minimum age for membership is 18+. It is expected that members will conduct their activities in accordance with our ethos and will not engage in activities that involve lewd, criminal, or any other behaviour that may lead to bringing thendt Network into disrepute.
